I think this is stunning. The blank windows are so inviting.
ReplyDeleteYes I must say I loved painting this picture, as it was about 7 years since I painted the original. It's funny really but when it's hot here we open all the windows and in countries where it is really hot, windows are kept closed.
ReplyDeleteAlthough Hon Fleur is small I love the buildings, colour and business and of course the water and boats - it's a lovely place
I love Honfleur and of course Barry loved it too didn't he, I love the painting, it gets the atmosphere perfectly xx

ReplyDeleteHi Rosie, thanks very much and yes Barry loved the place and Terry, I, Pam and Barry had a long weekend there for Barry's 80th and Terry's 65th spending our time wandering about, sitting in cafes eating and drinking and it was great. We stayed in the White Horse hotel as well which was lovely. All this posting comments etc is hard and I can't always get it right, whereas kids nowadays whatever their age, seem to be born with the knowledge. Lots of love
